Register child(ren) for Family Formation
Family Formation at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church
St. Catherine uses the Alive in Christ curriculum for grades Pre-K through 8th as implemented by the Diocese of Fargo. For grades 9-12th, students learn about Theology of the Body, Vocations, Morality/Social Justice, and Bible Timeline.
Students attend class from 6:30-7:30 pm, while parents attend a speaker that provides catechesis on the faith. Daycare is available weekly. Students that attend St. Catherine School (K-6th) learn these weekly lessons in school but can attend weekly lessons as well, as long as they are attending on a regular basis. Grades 7-12 meet weekly on Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 pm.
There are two parent sessions offered this year for parents to attend while their student is in class. Msgr is teaching from the Catholicism series by Bishop Barron. There is also a women’s group that is meeting and will be doing an bible study for Adult Women-Walking with Purpose-see link below to watch informational video about the series.
